A1. General Purchase Conditions
A1.1 All cancellations must be made by 10am two working days before collection/delivery to avoid cancellation fees.
A1.2 The material must be free from contamination, including but not limited to: poisonous, harmful or hazardous material, oil, moisture, bad odours or any other contamination.
A1.3 The material must be as per the agreed specification and photos provided.
A1.4 If the goods are rejected on the above grounds, any cost incurred will be the responsibility of the seller.
A1.5 Signing this document is confirmation that these terms and conditions have been received and understood.
A1.6 The waste producer confirms they will witness the driver signing the Duty of Care Consignment Note before the waste leaves their site.
A1.7 The waste producer confirms they will sign the Duty of Care Consignment Note before the waste leaves their site.

A2. Standard Terms
A2.1 It is assumed that the material being purchased is as described by the seller, and is as seen in the photos of the material as provided.
A2.2 It is assumed that the material will be free from any contamination unless otherwise specified in writing. Contamination includes, but is not limited to: other polymer types, soil, aggregate, wood, black bag waste, oils, solvents, general refuse, plasterboard, asbestos and excessive moisture levels.
A2.3 It is assumed that the material will be made available for collection at the agreed date and time period.
A2.4 It is assumed that the site does not have any height or weight restrictions, either within the site or on any access roads servicing the site, unless we have been advised in advance.
A2.5 It is assumed that the site has the necessary equipment (e.g. forklift) to load our collection vehicle within 2 hours.
A2.6 It is assumed that the site will minimise the possibility of damage to a collection vehicle (e.g. by way of puncture).

A3. Penalties
A3.1 A waiting charge of £100 plus VAT per hour will apply after the first two hours on site.
A3.2 An abortive charge of £600 plus VAT will be levied against a site that turns our transport away on the agreed collection date (except in the case of force majeure, fire or emergency site closure).
A3.3 Materials contaminated by way of the list in clause A2.2 (but not restricted thereto) will be disposed of at the nearest suitable facility. All costs of transport and disposal will be met by the seller.
A3.4 We reserve the right to discard any contamination found within a load. Charges of £175 plus VAT per tonne will be met by the supplier.
A3.5 If the weight received is below the agreed weight, an under-utilisation charge may be issued. The charge equals the percentage shortfall applied to the haulage cost quoted for that collection or the ex-works rebate price, subject to a minimum charge of £50. The weight recorded by the processing site is final.
A3.6 The site is responsible for loading the correct material and weight — NOT the driver or haulage company.

A4. Payment Terms
A4.1 Our standard payment terms are 30 days end of month unless agreed otherwise in writing prior to collection/delivery.
A4.2 Once the materials have been received, checked and weighed, a Purchase Order will be issued to the seller. Upon receipt of our Purchase Order, please send your invoice, referencing the Plastic Expert Purchase Order number, to [email protected]. Invoices are to be sent electronically; we no longer accept invoices or statements by post.
