Once collected, your material goes to a permitted reprocessing facility where it is sorted by polymer type, shredded into flake, washed to remove labels, adhesives and residue, then dried and extruded into pellets or granules. What they become depends on the grade. Rigid HDPE and PP often go back into pipe, crates and pallets; PET goes into new bottles, food trays and polyester fibre; PVC is granulated and returned to manufacturers. Nothing we collect is sent to landfill or incineration, and we issue a recycling certificate with recorded weights for every collection so you can evidence exactly where your waste ended up.
