For us to complete a smooth collection of your panels, we must have space for our artic curtain side lorry to load the solar waste. This is critical for both health and safety, and to ensure we collect optimum loads of waste with minimal transportation needed.
Securing your panels
Solar panel waste should be presented on pallets that are secure for moving and loading. The unity of each pallet should be in line with one another, ensuring the items do not slip or cause damage. This also means that space is not wasted on our collection lorry and we can remove your waste using fewer trips.
The stacking height
Whilst your panels are stacked on pallets, they should not reach a height of higher than 25 panels per pallet. If they are stacked higher, this may exceed the pallet’s strength and cause damage during transit.
